*Welcome to April's Blues Newsletter* The second half of this month is quite busy so here's a list of where we'll be playing the blues for you. Tuesday 18th April Andy Broad - Solo Jazz. Kitsch n d'or, Eldon Street Southsea A mellow blend of jazz, blues and other improvised music on electric and acoustic guitar. Thursday 20th April Andy Broad - Solo Blues The Barley Mow, Castle Road Southsea A full blown blues set, guitar vocals and stomp box... Friday 21st April Andy Broad and Matt Beckwith The Bent Brief, Lodge Road, Portswood, Southampton Combining Andy blues guitar with Matt powerful funky harmonica, at a blues orientated venue, it's going to be a great night get there early. Tuesday 25th April Andy Broad - Solo Jazz. Kitsch n d'or, Eldon Street Southsea A mellow blend of jazz, blues and other improvised music on electric and acoustic guitar. Friday 28th April Phil Jones & Andy Broad The Cafe Rouge, Gunwarf Keys, Portsmouth Jazz guitars, the contrasting approaches provided by Phil Jones chordal melodies and Andy Broad bluesy licks provides and interesting and varied backdrop to your meal. Saturday 29th April Burnt Ice The Crown, High Street, Littlehampton. Becoming one of Burnt Ice's favourite "Out Of Town" gigs, a great place to play our blend of funk and soul edged contemporary blues. Plenty of variation there, hope you can make down to one or more gigs! See you soon.
