Welcome the Portsmouth Blues Site Newsletter for June 2005

Just two pieces of news for this month ...

First off, Andy Broad will be playing a solo gig at "The Red White 
& Blue", Fawcett Road this Sunday evening (19th June, 8:30pm). 
Note that this is a Sunday, not a Saturday like most gigs at this 
Venue. Come down for an intimate evening of authentic delta blues 
in a small venue with excellent beer. (Gales HSB!)

Secondly, Phil Jones and Andy Broad (jazz guitar duo) have now 
released their first CD "The First Week in April". Recorded at 
Bebops Music in April 2005 it is available to purchase online at 
http://www.broad.ology.org.uk/blues/main/cd.html .Credit and debit 
cards payments taken via PayPal. Also available from the same site 
are Andy Broad's solo CD "From The Roots On Down" and the Burnt 
Ice CD "Live! At the Bullfrog Blues Club".

Just before I go a quick reminder that Burnt Ice will be appearing 
on Southsea Bandstand next month. They will joining Danny Bryant's 
Redeye Band for an afternoon of high energy blues and blue rock on 
Sunday 10th July 1pm till 4pm.
