Portsmouth Blues Site New Letter - December 2004

Welcome to the Portsmouth Blues Site Newletter for December 2004

Novemember was a busy month with several trips out of town on the solo side
ranging from Basingstoke to Billericay and a Burnt Ice gig in Littlehampton
(where the Landlord was so impressed he booked us for New Year's Eve on the
spot!)

This month starts a little closer to home with a solo gig at the Elms, just
across the road from Street Level Music in Elm Grove. Here's a complete
list of this months gigs...

    Back at this newish venue for the second time. Come down if you can all
    new venues need as much supportas possible!

    Thanks to Claude to passing this booking onto me, The Landlord needed
    some acoustic blues for a 40 birthday party, so he's come to the
    right place! 

Thursday December 9th
The Crown, Ley Hill Common, Near Chesham, Bucks

    First night at this venue, if you live in this area come along!

Saturday December 18th
Private party

    Change of hats to do the P.A. for Apicella,


Fridaty 31st December New Years Eve
The Steam Packet, River Road, Littlehampton.
Burnt Ice.

    Burnt Ice played at the Steam Packet as a special for a party that never
    quite came off, we deciced to do the gig anyway and were rewarded
    with a great reception from the audience. The Landlord enjoyed the
    gig so much that he emdiately booked us for the New Year's Eve Party. If
    you can make it over it will be a great evening, not sure about the
    details re tickets etc (there may may not be any available) so ring

    Phil and I will be playing are regular gig as usual during December, but
    the Christmas menu will replace the usual Jazz Night Menu. Book now to
    avoid disapointment!
